Sample 1: Copywriting Review

As a content designer, reviewing the copywriting of our product directors is an important part of my job. In terms of the language nuances, I can often provide them with better ideas and contribute to a better user experience. Here is a detailed example of our Mini App.

Here’s another example that shows how I persuaded the product director to improve the ambiguous UI copy to avoid confusion.

Sample 2: Copywriting

Sometimes I produce the UI copy directly instead of reviewing the work of product directors. Here’s an example of a tour-guide for first-time users of our Mini App.

Sample 3: Copywriting Styleguides

Typically, error messages are written by our back-end developers in English. However, according to our overseas users, they don’t understand most of the error messages that pop up from our console. According to my analysis, the root causes fall into basically two parts: First, the English is sloppy; and second, the messages don’t cover WHAT, WHY and HOW. So I established a set of style guides to help them write good and clear error messages.
